I was contacted by a brand I had not heard of earlier today; P & Co.  Consider my interest piqued…...

Text message at 8.30am: package will be delivered between 12.30 and 13.30pm today. DPD now has this fancy set-up where you can track your package, live… Just for the fun of it, I checked...

It's currently at a location about a 45' drive away from me... The driver's probably in a shitty van... He probably didn't get much sleep cause it stormed all night and was way too fucking warm... He has 59 stops, fifty fucking nine stops prior to mine… And they give him about 4 hours to clear those... And pay him, what: 6€/ hour?..

I know a lot of us have had shitty experiences with courier services, but just imagine having to do it as a job, to survive... I'm not even gonna say "make a living", cause even after all that work, he probably has fuck all left to show for it...

Random thoughts on a rainy morning, eagerly awaiting my package...
