@Dstauffer jacket is Langlitz. Model is Deaths Head Cascade, available in cow or goat. Google "Langlitz Cascade" for some great photos. The GOOD ART sterling snap caps don't hurt either… 😉

@Warner Are they heavier than our normal ones:

@Giles yes. I have two distinct weights but only found the heavier ones in the brown. This going back a few years by now. I actually love both weights but usually grab the heavier ones for riding and moto trips instead of leathers these days. No trouble thought please… still have a goodly number of years left in these ones, but I think if I saw more of the heavy ones I'd grab a pair.

The bone colored ones BTW are amazing. I'm sure I'll have them all stained in no time... ::)

@neph93 Been on the hunt for one in my size (9 or 10) like a mad man.

This one was a couple years before my time, but I have faith the Forum Gods will grant my request one day…

Did @Giles  know what sizes he could source? I have no clue about ring size but I'm ready to do the research if he can get one over from Japan.

He was kind enough to check for me and they only had size 7 left 😞

So here is a few snaps of the project we are doing at the moment.

                          Just the base done

                          Progress

cutting drains takes a long time

but I think the end results are quality

main bit of the patio is done now

just the pointing and cutting the curve to do

going to be lovely when finished

                          and done in IH gear

Jesus, I remember laying one, no two, of these 25 years ago when I built my house. One around a pool, and then the patio. Then the big day came to to rent the masonry saw and cut the slate for all the coping on the pool and patio  wall. One day rental. We had pre-measured every piece. So it was just saw, saw, saw, while someone laid it–sometimes you would have to trim. About 12 straight hours. My forearm stared vibrating all over again, a life of its own, as soon as I saw the pics in this thread.  Beautiful job. And I can assure you, you will remember it (especially the years you adjust and relay parts...!)  -M
