@Giles Quick question, does the waist stretch past the original waist measurements? For example, I just received a pair of 34s and they measure 34" dead on. Will they stretch out to 34.25" after soaking?
Website says this:
"Treat as raw: you will get about 1" shrinkage in the waist and the same in the inseam, the waist will stretch back out to pre-soak/wash size over time - so if they fit you as you like them pre-soak/wash, then that's your size"
But it's not an exact science so a 1/4 of an inch +/- is a definite possibility.
does the thigh shrink as well with a soaking?

It shrinks proportionally to the waist, and will stretch back to the appropriate measurement with wear (possibly beyond). Generally speaking we're talking about a quarter of an inch shrinkage.
Thanks! So I ordered the 634sii. If I find them too roomy in certain places then I will exchange them for the 666sii. I opted for the sii over the xhs for practical reasons. They are a bit heavy heading into a Connecticut summer. Although I'm Sure they will Be my next IH purchase.

Good luck. I've been wearing mine for the past three weeks straight and they're very comfortable for a tailored, snug fit for me. I don't have pictures yet because they're hasn't been much change in the indigo of the creases, etc. Make sure you hot soak them! I turned my hot water heater up quite a bit.

I gave mine an initial hot soak to tighten up the leg and mine have stretched about .75" over initial size, but strangely I didn't get the last bit until after their second wash. I bought these when I was quite thin and they've accommodated me nicely as I've thickened up. Piranha, were your 34s really 34? My pair was 35.5" as per the listed measurements.

I misspoke My IH 666SII were 34.75" in the waist. I measured them twice. -
Took the dive… Twice!!!

These size 34s have been worn just about three months straight here in Philadelphia except for when it's quite hot. The fades on the whiskers are ever so slightly coming through. This is the smoothest and softest denim I have.
