Same here, there is by far not enough extra money laying around these days. Especialy not with the upcoming fall/winter collection, which will be a financial desaster (for me, not IH).

As a gentlemen of some accumulated years (that is to say over 30), how are you finding this jacket? Does it get used? I ask because having wanted one since they got released I managed to get one and I love it but, the wife absolutely, completely fekkin' hates it. Big time. She reckons it looks like I'm trying too hard. I need ammunition in the fight to keep it. Deployable argumentation is welcome

Looks right at home–not obtuse nor contrived.  And with time the 'new' jacket sheen will fade.  Worst case only wear it while with the guys!?!

Well I'll be the odd man out here, honest opinion @neph93 is that I'm with your wife on this one.  Lose the patch and it's much better.  Truth be told I'm not a huge fan of varsity jackets on anyone though.

No worries. The patch and the whole "College football player x Marylin Manson" vibe is what I love about this jacket (and what my wife hates about it). I can see it's not for everyone.

Well spotted, yes they are. My first 634's, I'm a bit wide for the 634 (W34/35 with a 31" inseam) but these are so narrow that they work for me. And I love the way the top block fits.

Special Thanks to Paula for taking care of my order! Great jacket but i never owned a jacket that short. As i always wanted a quality black/black varsity jacket i lusted for that one since it came out. A bit unsure if it‘s not too short but i believe this is exactly how that kind of jackets should fit. Went with a M, a large would have been too big in chest & waist.
