it is a huge shame from where they've come from to what it is now. back in the days, i know very well that you'd simply can't get the item that you'd like simply because you want to buy it. i wonder if this is going to change from now on given the website. but then again, i wonder what's going on sale on the website to begin with..

it really takes away the excitement or mysterious aura surrounding the brand that makes people go back, to be able to one day be "allowed" to buy the item they want.

Yeah, DY used to do some really elegant stuff - now they are simply more trendy and not as well made. My wedding ring is DY and it's been a tank, but I have a money clip that after 3 years is already back at the forgery getting re-done.

My wife gave me this David Yurman money clip as a wedding present 3.5 years ago - after years of everyday wear, and me carrying around more than it was designed to hold, mine had started to crack, so I sent it in for repair.

They called me this week to come pick up the “fixed” one…

Guess they gave up and just sent me a brand new one haha
