Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

I know it's going to be a while before this happens. Can't wait to order one!

@riffblaster:
After searching high and low for a decent one out in the wild I'd like to resubmit my request for a black 101j. 16oz black denim would be a dream come true.
I have made the decision (I think)…..
We have made a tiny run (enough for about 150 pants of 125 jackets) on a new 21oz non-fade (reactive dyed warp and weft) selvedge denim. So how about using this new denim with copper buttons?
Boom. Love it

Shorts please. I'm not fussy.

Hey @Giles I know you are constantly bombarded with ideas in this thread so I apologize for this but I have another one….
One of my favorite summer shirts is the WWII USMC Service shirt. It's a super lightweight breathable cotton with two big pockets on the front. I've often wished I had an updated version that doesn't have to be worn with high waisted pants. I think Haraki San could really do something great with one of these. I have a couple and if there's any interest I'd be happy to send one to you to examine.

Maybe do a version of the IHSH-61 without the screenprint….That was one of the many shirts I wish I could've tried on in person.......
-
Those grey whipcord with blanket lining….winter pants deluxe!

I know i'm probably in the small minority here and this might not even be up to par with IH's aesthetic but would IH ever consider doing a sashiko half western? I know SDA, Momotaro and RgT are known for doing sashiko tops but I'm convinced that IH could do it 100 times better. Or, has the market reached sashiko saturation?
coat, hat, buh-bye

It's been mentioned before and I think the answer was that it doesn't really fit with the IH aesthetic and product line and is of no interest to Haraki-san. Never say never though.

Figured as much. Thought i'd throw it out there. IH has been bringing so many interesting fabrics to their lineup that I assumed sashiko wouldn't necessarily be out of place with stuff like rip stop & corduroy. But, Haraki-san knows his stuff, so if he doesn't think it fits with IH's aesthetic or that there are already too many companies doing it then he's probably right.

After wearing my (first IH shirt I ever got) ihsh 100 17oz….an overdyed version would be an awesome update of the fabric! Hard wearing but comfy.

Now that the grey whipcord work pants are announced, what about one in Navy, Khaki, and black (in that order)?
-
How about using the whipcord to make a pair of cargo's? With a bit more of a taper than any of the current cargo pants have.
-
Cargo or Summer Shorts made from the heavy Chambray just like the IHSH-16, dark indigo, black, khaki or natural would be dope.
