      I think Giles might've sampled a 14oz type III…I'd bet a significant amount of $$ that a white one wouldn't sell.

He did, but not put it into production yet….

A lighter weigh type iii would be great! As would a 101 with slimmer arms!

Couldn't figure where best to put this, just wanted to throw it out there. With the attention that the DWC has again been bringing to the beauty of faded denim, I was thinking about all the epic posts from many years ago and how the old stuff gets forgotten about or lost in the abundance. Posts like this, which are timeless:

I would love to see a gallery collection/contest of the most epic faded/worn IH items of all time. Such as the most epic faded pair of jeans of all time (similar to the "last man standing" DWC contest), or the least epically faded jeans with the most wear time etc., just so none of the old classics get lost and they can be easier to retrieve for reference. There has to be some really heavily worn IH items out there and I would love to see a compilation of images if we can get people to contribute. I believe people like bushmonkey or licorice noose must have some incredibly evolved IH items after all this time. I have a few old items as well. I was imagining a way that we could inspire more people to contribute pics of faded gear outside of a time-constrained contest. I wanted to compare the old classics to the new generations of fades. I know the gallery already does this in a way, but maybe we could add a category or two of specifically compiled images…

^^ Cool pic, and a great idea as well. Perhaps a separate thread called "Used and Lovingly Abused"!

@adam313 This is a great idea.  @Lindsey and @sam are working on some "fade galleries" at the moment, which will hosted in our gallery.  But we could expand the remit of that and use some specific threads on the forum to captu=re those images and feed the gallery.

I thought a CPO would be easy to sell, of course, but a single-layer jacket would be awesome… A very simple design, like the IHSW-01 or IHSW-16 would KILL IT!

Ditch the zipper, and make it a pullover

In my opinion a hooded pullover is far too specific a garment. It loses 75% of its practicality and utility by removing the zip, and would be far less marketable.

A fishermans parka with a zip is a utility jacket, and a hooded, wind proof and potentially waterproof spring/ summer/ autumn jacket is something missing from the Iron Heart range.
