I think it just means they have taken a seam ripper and taken the arcuate off of each back pocket.

So I receieced my 634sii jeans today. I am debating wether or not to Exchange them for a larger size. I have not soaked them yet. The fit is exactly how I would like them to fit post soak. My concern is that they won't fit me post soak because they are a snug fit. Which is how I want them be but I worry that post soak I won't be able to get them back on. Advice please? . I will Post this in the 634sii thread as well. Thanks

If you can get them on ok now and you like the fit, you could soak them while wearing them (put em on and sit in the tub for awhile). This is usually my preferred method because I like a pretty snug fit. On the other hand you could return them for the larger size and hot soak. I'm sure you'll be ok either way and more people will chime in.

Whatever shrink you get with the soak will be gotten back with wear/stretch. Personally, I would keep the pair you bought.

I think you should return them and get the next size up. Keep in mind I prefer a more comfortable, roomier fit (634 guy here) and I'm assuming you might be the same considering you went for a pair of 634's. In my opinion they will shrink up too small and be way too uncomfortable once you soak them. I don't like my jeans to be a painful experience and I don't like having to stretch my jeans much so keep that in mind as well.

I totally side with "keep". If they fit you now, they will after a soak, ideally mold to your body and fit like just made for you.
