      OMG! 1 years wear, 2 soaks, 1 wash, 1 sea wash. OMG!

      Probably the craziest / most unique fades I've ever seen.

        Here's mine. I stopped keeping track but I'd estimate 350-400 days and two washes. Hands down the best jeans I've ever owned!

            @DennisEspunkt:

            Hey guys, i've got an IH-666 UHR. Pretty Heavy pair of Denim! 😶 Do you guys have any experiences how long it will approx take until it's broken in. It's my first pair of Denim which is over 14oz and it seems kind of hard and fits tight so i have to keep the first button open.
            By the way i soaked it ones in cold water, so it shrinked a bit. Will the waist stretch back? Seems like it will be a hard piece of work! Thanks for your help!

            Hey- now that you had some time wearing these, are you able to button the top button? I'm about it the same boat with the 21 oz denim and am just contemplating sizing up but everyone says they will stretch ….

                I see so much discrepancy in the fading. Some People have the same amount of Time and wear and the denim holds the indigo. While Others shed it. . I know lifestyle In the jeans makes a difference but is there a gamble that regardless of how you live some Pairs just won't fade? I'm asking because I just can't make up
                My damned mind on my next purchase.

                  Well, the pairs with much fading show what a denim is able to do. It then depends on the wearer to deliver the results. If somebody never gets much fading he probably won't get crazy results with a pair that's capable of great fading results. That said, you should look into the double duck fabric for a fabric that will easily fade. The 21 oz Standard denim is more of a tough nut to crack.

                      Thanks Giles. I didn't find that pretentious. It's a difficult decision! Enjoyable though

                        Can anyone tell me how much shrinkage in the waist after sufficient soaks? And did you find that it stretched back to tag size? Thanks

                                All horizontal measurements will shrink proportionally to waist shrinkage, all vertical measurements proportionally to inseam shrinkage.

                                Seeing as waist, knee and hem measurements don't involve masses of fabric, shrinkage is negligible, unless of course they were too tight to behind with.

                                EDIT: Of course it would be easier to follow @Giles link which explains things much more succinctly  😢

                                      A hole in the crotch area and reinforcements on the right knee. I'll take some pictures of the Damage when I'm back home, @Sam .

                                        Hey all, was wondering if a cold, warm or hot soak makes a difference in shrinkage for the 21/23oz unsanforized UHRs? They're pretty loose everywhere, but don't want them to shrink TOO much if I go hot. Thanks!
