Part of the reason I may have opted for print, is that it is not particularly obvious over the camo…

Really hoping the IHJ-57 comes without the print, but all the ones I've seen in Japan have it so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Japan will always have print or embroidery or patch, so every photo you see from Japan of the IJH-57 will have print.  I have the option when ordering to say whether I want print or embroidery or patch or not.  So what you are seeing in Japan has no bearing on what I may or may not have ordered unless I did order print and someone has raided my cartons for a photoshoot without telling me…..

I wouldn't mind if they did come with print this time around, as it's seems to be hardly noticeable (at least in most pics I've seen so far…)

Seconded. The print looks great and authentic on the camo jacket. I would even go so far as to say that it looks better with print than without IMHO.

I was referencing the 57, not the 59. You can hardly see the print on the 59.
I think the one on the 57 is pretty visible on the black, not so much the navy option.

I think this picture shows the print more obviously. It also shows that these are water resistant, double bonus!

I need a good rain jacket, would 59 or 57 be a better choice?  To be honest I could take or leave the camo and probably like the navy best.

I think the 57 will be more waterproof, but Alex has a IHJ-12 and it has never leaked once…...

Giles, fabric on the future M-65 can be the same seen on this 57?

No I don't think so.  The M-65 will be cotton sateen again, with a bonded layer of water repellant fabric applied to the reverse….
