Just ordered a pair of these, can't wait to wear them! Excuse me if this is a novice question but just how important is it to wash this denim after the initial soak? Could you just do the soak, hang dry, and wear? Also, would a hot soak be advisable or should the initial soak definitely be cold?

Hi @Costch

The washing part is to try and agitate the denim after the soak to get rif of most of the shrinkage. It is not required like the soak but recommended.

If the measurements work, you should grab one of the last few pairs of this epic denim…

I apologize in advanced if this is a silly question, but I was wondering, how well does the fabric on these breathe? I have a pair of the 634S in the flagship 21oz and I feel like those breathe fairly well making them a nice year round pair. Whereas my 25oz feel like a damn sauna the moment I start doing anything "active" in them. Just wanted to see which one they're more comparable to.

It is the least breathable denim we do.  It makes 25oz feel like wearing a string vest in comparison….

What do you consider your lightweights? Yesterday was 90 here and the 634s were too warm for me. Working outside all day. I sweat a bunch.

If that phrase often and it helps me slow down and speed up.
