IHSH-167-NVY - Navy Blue Selvedge "Sailor Cloth" Work Shirt

Did a quick search and didn't see anything come up. What is sailor cloth? Just referring to color scheme? From the detail shots it looks to be a plain weave.

Looks very "duck"/"canvas" to me.

To be honest, we're not exactly sure what "sailor cloth" is, so we're waiting for a proper description from Haraki san, this thread will be updated once we have that info!  It feels like a mid-weight chambray, the navy blue feels a little stiffer than the off-white version, probably due to the dyeing process.  More info will follow…

As far as we know, they are not indigo-dyed - but I am sure when Haraki gives us more detail this will be confirmed (or otherwise!)

So it's not indigo dyed, right?.. Just an indigo fabric?.. Guessing there's no idea on how (or whether) it'll fade since it's the first time this fabric has been used…

@Seul its tightly woven plain weave selvedge 100% cotton, not indigo dyed, just indigo cloth. No idea what the fade on this will be like but I'm guessing it's going to be pretty ruddy great
