I don't normally like pre-aged guitars, but this one was really cool. It's one of five (I think) that Gibson produced for their top retailers in the UK.

Cant believe I just now discovered this thread. After looking through the whole thread, I thought I'd share too. Here's what I've been working with lately:

I took a look in one of the local music shops today. They have a decent collection of Les Pauls in stock.

The last image is of a Custom Shop Les Paul with a long scale. It was very nice, and the guy on the counter's favourite guitar.

I just installed the bridge pickup this weekend, it’s a Kinman noiseless humbucker-sized P-90. The neck pickup is a Harmonic Design Z-90. I had the matching bridge pickup but replaced it with the Kinman. Both Harmonic Design and Kinman make fantastic pickups.

If you are referring to this one, it’s a 1946-9 L4. I’m fairly sauced at the moment and cant recall the specific year. Suffice to say its old af.
