Adam you box looks awesome. How did 17.2 go?

Thanks dude - we had a member get his first bar muscle up during the WOD so that's always cool for us as coaches to see.
I haven't been training much but plan to give it a go Monday morning

That's great! We saw a few of those at our box too. I imagine that would be even cooler from a coaches perspective.

Killer! Yeah, after nearly 10 years in the CF world, I get more excited when my clients hit new PRs than I do… although I do like throwing weight still [emoji12][emoji123]
Anyways, day 2 with the tours gave me a bit of quiet time so I decided to see if there were any "problem" areas in the jeans.
The crotch was pretty beat up and a decent hole was starting so I did a very small thread job to ensure they make it to the next gent.
The damage before
I gotta say, after a year of these things going and only a few busted threads, I'm seriously impressed
Quit and easy job. Doubt anyone will ever notice, although I can pull pretty hard at the seam and the new threads take the pressure as opposed to the constructional chainstitching. Hope it lasts the next few weeks/months!
A beer… always well deserved. And yes, I drink PBR out of choice as my daily fridge stocked. Have for more than a decade and probably will for a decade more lol

Day 3 of the Bama leg of the tourWe went to a wedding last night so we're a bit slow moving this am, but we got a call that someone wanted to show our house today, so we had to get it cleaned up… nightmares of selling your home...
Check out those vacuum marks… lol
Buddy wasn't being very helpful during the cleaning up
And Daphne just wanted to play
#dadlife - when you use your kids bottle drying rack for your Aeropress
Some shots of our home since it's kinda clean now
My favorite photos my father in law built the frames for
I consider myself the "home Decorator" but my wife did pick this one up and it's pretty great
A quick flick of the tours
Gratuitous photo at the wedding we attended last night. The tours were not present, but were there in spirit
Cheers, and Happy Sunday to all.

thanks for showing us around.
jeans & shirt go super well together & the wear on the tour double indigos (tdi) have made me go look at the cuts in this material . . . .
-
@Appfaff nice man thanks for the updates
-
Thanks guys - they are spectacular jeans, and I've found the 666 cut super versatile. Seriously debating getting a pair of the OG 18oz ones.

Alrighty guys… so I had planned on driving back to Texas to spend the weekend with my dad and brother at the lake for our grandma's (dads mom) birthday celebration, but some unexpected news of my grandfather (moms dad) passing had me hop in the car today and drive from
Alabama (mobile) to Texas (Fort Worth). Looks like I'll then be traveling to Indiana this weekend for the memorial arrangements as well, but until then, my brother (@formulapfaff) and I are spending some quality time together.Anyways, since the drive was so long, and the world tours being a bit snug on me, I elected to wear my 555-03 on the drive but quickly changed into them to go out to dinner and drinks with Greg (my brother).
The IH arsenal that I brought for my trip. Wasn't expecting the memorial to be this weekend in Indiana so I hadn't packed any suitable clothes for cold weather… but at least I will look good in 10 degree (f) nights lol
BTW- when you move out of the house, your mom will put a chaise lounge in your room to remind you that you can't stay here long
Perfect for serious style WAYWT posts
Luckily, there is an amazing Mexican bakery (tex mex) place around the corner from my parents house so my brother grabbed him IHSH-170 and we headed that way.
On our way

…Continued
We arrived at stop 1
First off, margaritas. A must.
My dinner. It was 10000x better than anything we have in Alabama. No surprise there
Next we found ourselves at a new cigar bar around the corner. My brother had a nice "My Father" cigar while I had a … well I can't remember the name but here is the label lol
The place hadn't gotten their liquor license now, so was acting as a "membership club." So for a $5 membership fee, we had "complimentary" Glenlivet 15yr with our cigars on the back patio while the owner set up a private Sonos speaker with jazz for us. Quite a nice evening
Came back to the house and had a local Texas beer - essentially a craftier version of a shiner bock for those familiar with that brew
A bonus pic from our stroll to and from our nightly adventure
Hoping to hit up a local workwear shop that opened up in town tomorrow and maybe get some jeans hemmed.
I'll be sure to keep everyone posted up about the tour jeans!

Thanks @neph - he was lucky to have lived a very full 89 years of life. We are comforted knowing that he spent his life dedicated to savings lives and spreading a love for art and compassion.
I hope to pass on a similar legacy to my children and grandchildren.
Anyways, not wanting to bring this bread down, just wanted to share the "adventure" and "real life happenings" of the jeans. It's weird to think all the stories the jeans have shared and I'm excited to be a part of the tour.
