They FEEL like fast faders. They have a rougher texture than I'm used to from IH, my initial impression was that the denim felt similar to Samurai denim. Weight-wise they don't feel much heavier than my 14oz 666's (which feel heavier than 14oz), although that may be partially due to not having worn the 14oz since October or so (I've been wearing my 25oz 666's for the winter).

Even though the denim is rougher and a bit on the rigid side, it still has some softness to it. It doesn't feel as rough or rigid as I was expecting after reading some of the initial reviews from others who have purchased this denim. I can't wait to see how it evolves. I feel like between the 14oz, these, the 21oz, the 23oz Self Edge collabs, and the 25oz, I have a pair of IH for all climate conditions (and enough pairs in rotation to finally start seeing some killer fades in the year 2037 lol).

Softened up a bit, but it's only 2 weeks….

@xtcclassic great fit on the jeans. But what I really like is the jacket. Love the yoke on that… reminds me of Garry Maloney's jacket in this picture.

great fit @xtcclassic - thank you for posting.  they look great on you.

i will add to the chorus of those saying these are fast fading.  i've only had them a week or so but electric blue is popping out at the whiskers at a faster rate than any of the other jeans i have had except for the 666LBs, which were a different beast altogether…

really happy to have these as my new pair!  reminds me that i do need to post evo pics of my 666SIIs at some point, which were my daily jeans for about 18 months and ended up having my favorite fades of any jeans I had.  fantastic denim.

Maybe I asked the wrong question. Have they softened up considerably? I'm about 65 days into my 777XHS and they've softened up considerably,which makes them feel,to me, way more comfortable. Make sense?
