That's excellent news, the fabric is beautiful, but the IH western cut definitely works better for me in terms of sizing. Absolutely crazy that the sizes sold out. I'm used to seeing it amongst the L and XLs but just goes to show you're onto a winner with the fabric.

Despite what I said yesterday, we may do a western out of the same fabric this Autumn. If you would like to cancel your order for the work shirt and wait for the western, please let me know. And sorry for the confusion…
That's a kind offer, but I think I will stay with the workshirt. Can't take the risk if the western does not happen. Plus I really like the look of the aluminium buttons, and don't think the western would have such buttons?

If it handles like the 129 it will have an awesome feel, pretty stiff and substantial, not as soft as the UHFs. As much as I like westerns, I think this one wins because of the metal Buttons. Now I have to cross fingers that the chest and sleeves won't look too big.

I've always liked these buttons since seeing them on the Johnny Cash Works Too shirt.

UHF is 12oz. This feels lighter but is a completely different feel because it is unbrushed…..
@Giles Does unbrushed feel that different? If so, I also would be interested in the september release.
I do not care much for the brushed UHF feel on the lower arms. I like the feel of the wabash, hickory and duck though. -

sticking with my work shirt version but very good news that a Western will be made.
I will second that this unbrushed fabric feels completely different than the brushed UHF fabrics
