I've wanted that Flathead belt for years but I want the black version which never seems to be in stock when I have the cash. Are you happy with it? Part of me wants to hold out in case Haraki ever makes the IH plate buckle belt again but that may never happen..

Seems like majority of thick belts are out of stock in brown or natural color.

@QuantumMechanic It's The Flat Head belt.  I'm very happy with it. The shine and feel of the heavy weight leather is badass.

@Mustafa911 IMO, the IHB-01 is the best belt on the market. It's not the thickest, but the leather is the best I've ever seen.

I have the black FH it's good belt

Where would people recommend for a (quality) loose strap to set on an existing buckle?

Decided to increase my number of belts to two.  This one, like the first, has a buckle from Iron Art Canada.  He does really nice work, and if you're looking for a buckle, I'd definitely recommend him.

Only two belts?  I couldn't handle that @Chris .  I hate taking belts off my jeans, so I have one for each in my current rotation.

That's why I made a second one- I got tired of switching one between jeans.  On the plus side, that laziness helps me stick with one pair of jeans until they're sort of broken in.  I seem to buy a new pair right around January each year, but I bounce back and forth between the old and new through spring.  So the second belt is great right now.

Rereading this post makes me realize (again?) how quirky I am about clothing…

@Chris  I'm sure we are all quirky.  I keep my jeans on a coat rack.  It works for me, but I get strange looks when people see it.

I've bought extra wide plastic hanger. I close the top two buttons and the jean fits inside the hanger.
