Thanks dude. On paper, the measurements hinted that they would be huge, but the truth of the matter was they were quite hard to get into. I'll appreciate a little stretch in the waist and top block when it come and probably wont really have to worry about ripping the seems to threads..hopefully not at least.

Not too much wear on mine but the fit has relaxed somewhat. Such a great and versatile cut and the SBG denim is equal parts brutal and equal
Parts cozy.. in a weird way.

Looking really nice. Mine are still arguing with me. I'd have expected the thigh to loosen more than it has. I know exactly what you mean about brutal/cosy. The good news is that my SBG BB's are soft like sweatpants now, after a few months of actual wear (really need to wash them too [emoji40]).

I'm about ten wears in. But mine are snug, verging on tight. With the weight I've lost I went for a 34 instead of a 36. So the waist is great, the top block is fitted but the thigh and calves are Motley Crüe ca. 1983 [emoji38]I'm sure (read:hoping)  they'll loosen a little.

Yeah, I would have already ripped the 34s by now.  36 as a relaxed slim fit is a good choice for me. I might snag the 555-01 in the same size since the measures as a bit slimmer.

Gave my 03s a cold soak with dr brommers this weekend they finally dried. I was surprised by how much they tightened up and got a lot stiffer, but they stretched a good bit and softened up after a few hours of wear.

I'll be 2 years in on these in July, and I've gotten in 3 hot soaks/hand washes in, followed by hang drying. Going to do a machine wash/dry this weekend probably. They aren't filthy, or even much dirty, but I'm starting to get to the beginnings of thinking to myself "Is that a smell that I smell?", lol! And, I'm curious what fades I have hidden under the dirt.

*Btw, my head isn't this disproportionate in real life, lol

I always thought the 21 oz SBG is unwashed. Are these really onewashed already?

Some of the SBG jeans are one-washed, some aren't.

I was suprised by this too, they feel pretty rigid and don't have the usual onewash look you get from other brands.
