    @Giles:

    Can't see that happening.  Haraki selects mills for their technical prowess and how alligned the mill owners views, philosophy and principles are to his.  He spends a shit load of time developing new stuff with the people he trusts and once a new denim is in production he visits the mill extremely regularly (in the case of the first run of 25oz, he practically lived at the mill helping combat the technical difficulties).  He considers the mill owners, many of whom are 2 man bands his friends.  Let's leave Cone for others…..Nothing wrong with it of course, but I suspect not for us....

    ah, I see.  I shouldn't be surprised (and I'm not really) that H shows that level of dedication and attention to detail.  Very cool.  The commitment and diligence by everyone at IHUK/IHJP is one of the things I love about this brand.

        I hear that quite often and I agree some of the 12oz cone fabrics are a bit boring but IMHO there is nothing like a classic pair of cone denim jeans in the 14-16oz range.  They still look great in an understated way and just scream classic americana.  A pair of chucks, some cone jeans, and a white T always stands the test of time.

          ^ this is true. The one pair I had was 14oz and the fades were lovely and soft all the way through. Effortlessly vintage. Just a dull hand on them.

            We have created the new 18oz vintage denim specifically to give vintage Levi's/Cone mills type fades…..

              Very nice.  Those are looking good from what I've seen so far.

                    I know the answer to this request but like to ask It at least Once a year.

                    Sherpa lined modified trucker with lined pockets.

                    Maybe the new 14oz would lend itself to this rather than the 21oz…..

                      Sherpa lined type 1 FTW…different but still awesome.

                          An IH take on a simple, classic work trouser (similar to a chino but maybe slant front pockets instead of slash), with the patch back pockets instead of welt. Maybe w/ a button on the back pocket as well.  I don't wear as many traditional 5 pocket jeans anymore, but this in duck or even denim would be my grail pant.

                                  Excellent point. I meant to say more formal whipcord vests not designed for cold weather.

                                    The ihv-02 work vest cut in whipcord would be a corker.

                                      Has a camera bag been suggested?  One by IH or OGL would be great (and stop me buying another Billingham)

                                          I've been through tons of bags in the last 2 decades of working with cameras. Portabrace and Billingham make the best for what I do on location, carrying on one shoulder or across body being my preference.. I shoot Nikon and need  space for 2 bodies with lenses on and extras… more than happy to chat designs anytime, for me similar to the Billingham Hadley is a good start..
