@Seul , I'll check if my local store has a stock of those and bring some down for @Chris and @Giles to try out.

Their barrel aged "Rain Shadow" stout is magnificent, local brewery to me too.

Having it a second time right now… Holy cow - it's fuckin PERFECT...

Pretty yummy. Probably do well with a year or two on it.

Picked up a few local brews to try. I've heard good things about Blue Monkey brewery so the Imperial Stout and Champagne Pale Ale seemed like a good place to start.

Peaty - warming - very decent, but a tàd low in carbonation.

All the de Molen I've had lack carbonisation. I think it's thing with them. It kind of works for me.

This has (even) less than their others… It's not flat, but I'd 've liked a tad more sparkle... Would've helped with the mouthfeel... Oily but a bit thin...

Stouts have been popular on here lately - I'm drinking a Bells Kalamazoo Stout as we speak - easy drinking for sure

^Kzoo Stout is a solid choice. Had this yesterday. Flavor profile is right between a Barleywine and an Impy Brown…quite pleasing

Bourbon: because living in Kentucky just makes you want to drink
