You ever see one of those old pictures of dudes on African expeditions?  It's a couple of guys with big grins, then four elephants, eight carts and fifty sad-faced conscripted locals to lug all the gear, set up the tents, cook the meals, clean the laundry and make sure the rich dudes don't get killed by mistake.

Some days I feel like one of those porters.

long time no see/talk guys…so i really hope all you guys are safe out there and that you had some wonderful christmas holidays along with your family and your loved ones and all that matters ?!

for myself i got everything i've asked for (and more) and spend some great times at home with everyone i really need in my life. saw a lot of old friends and catching up with everyone and hearing about their progress and all was super dope...gotta love the x-mas holidays

so again, i hope you guys are doing good and it's really great to read some topics and see the same guys still active around these parts.

Those of us in the Antipodes, well the East Coast of Oz and Kiwiland, have now escaped 2016.

And just to cheer you up, here's Bloomberg's Pessimist's Guide to 2017. Last year's edition predicted Trump and Brexit. Be afraid! :o
