Hello sir! I just bought my new pair size 34. It fits really good on my waist, but from knee to leg opening i think it's too big. Do u think initial soak with hot water will make a big shrink?

I'd suggest to give them a chance as the denim will settle with wear. Happened with all my 666 fits (an awesome cut btw).

Definitely agree with this. The 666 will never have a small hem but that feeling of having too much fabric under the knee definitely diminishes when the denim relaxes.

I have been really bad when it comes to updates on my pairs.
I have to step it up. Have not taken many photos the last couple of months.

@Giles are the pair you sent on tour (that I'm now wearing) from the same batch as the current product page measurements are based on?

I ask because they fit me really well, but judging by the current pre-soak measurements on the product page I'd never have bought a W36 as I'd have thought they'd be huge on me even after the soak.

Want to get a pair of these and wondering how much stretch I can get in the waist. My 301s are a size 31 which I shrank as much as possible and they are still pretty big in the waist. Wondering if I can stretch a,29 so I can get the smaller leg opening. Ideal would end up being a 31 inch after stretch. Any advice?

I have a pair and they measure about 1" over tagged size after stretch.

You will probably want the 30.  Plus, the hips and thighs on the 666 are much more brutal than the 301.

                          Just my 2cents.

Good point on the thighs. I was wearing some of the original 666sod in a 31 and they were perfect everywhere besides thighs.  If the SII hem is under 8 inches after a,hem I should be good. Thanks for the advice.

@Appfaff I ended up taking your advice and going with the 30s. So glad I did. Thighs are just big enough. These are going to be awesome and a great replacement for my 666sod which had bruuuutal thighs.

Thanks @twin . I do love my jeans. But they need quite alot of maintenance atm. I find myself taking out the needle and put down some stitches once or twice a week now. 🙂
I hope they will make it to the end of the DWC without having to send them away to get mended.
