I'm a little concerned about the fit as I'm thick in the thighs. But while the thigh and hem measurements are marginal, the knee measurement gives me hope that I'll get my tree trunks into a pair.

@neph93 I'll pretty much just say what the others have said, they can be dressed up pretty easily.  They look good dressed up or down.

I normally wear a 36 (sometimes a 38 depending on the cut) and I went with 36 in these. They've been washed once and they tightened up a bit in the waist and thighs. Nice and snug how I like them. I have pretty thick thighs too and they are fine.

Don't you just hate it when you buy a something a bit different, not your usual style or another product line and it comes up bloody brilliant and you wonder how you'd managed without it all this time, and then start wondering "how many pairs of chino's does a grown man need"?

@neph93 I wont speak for @Giles but I can say the 717s are nearly identical in cut …at least in my waist size

The cut of the 716 is similiar to the 711 whereas the 717 is similiar to the 707/816.

@neph93 @Dion is right, I  had my model numbers mixed up.  I meant the 711 is nearly an identical cut to the 716 in my waist size.  Ignore my first post lol.
