IH-716 - Grey 10oz Chino Cloth Chinos

Love these. Comfy, light, now I need to get them hemmed.
Have to get measurements tomorrow, my ulcer flared up this morning and didn't feel like doing crap till the past few hours, which I am working.

These are probably my favorite chinos from IH, the fit is spot for a comfortable but trim look that's not skin tight. The fabric wears in quickly and becomes super soft. Perfect chino for work in a causal environment or out to play.
Here to hope that more chinos will be made in this fit!

With the festive season approaching Mrs. Neph is insisting I need a smarter pair of pants in my wardrobe and was clear that anything with the words "denim" or "jean" in the name won't cut it. In her defence she did say "surely Iron Heart make something". She's a keeper [emoji7] Also, it's not often I get the chance to make a sanctioned purchase without having to resort to the Dark Arts [emoji38]
So these are a possibility. Can someone advise me as to how dressy they are? The only experience I have of IH chino cloth is my blanket lined tanker jacket. Is this similar in terms of hand? And finally will this fade? Any and all help appreciated.

They get pretty dressy. I wear them with my Aden Indy oxfords for teaching. I'll post a picture tomorrow.

Thanks very much for the answer, that would be super. How did you size them? Would you say they are as slim as a pair 555's?

Thanks man. Looking real good there. I'm thinking about pairing them with vests and shirts too.
I'm a little concerned about the fit as I'm thick in the thighs. But while the thigh and hem measurements are marginal, the knee measurement gives me hope that I'll get my tree trunks into a pair.

@neph93 I'll pretty much just say what the others have said, they can be dressed up pretty easily. They look good dressed up or down.

I normally wear a 36 (sometimes a 38 depending on the cut) and I went with 36 in these. They've been washed once and they tightened up a bit in the waist and thighs. Nice and snug how I like them. I have pretty thick thighs too and they are fine.

Don't you just hate it when you buy a something a bit different, not your usual style or another product line and it comes up bloody brilliant and you wonder how you'd managed without it all this time, and then start wondering "how many pairs of chino's does a grown man need"?
These are wonderful. Lovely material and a tremendous cut for me (thanks @Winchy ). @Giles is this a regular IH chino cut or a one off?
