IH-816-BRN - Brown Whipcord Work Pant

I really dig the brown ones… at first I purchased them bc to my knowledge there hasn't been anything quite that color of brown... and I think they are selling partly because of this... but now I am digging them because of the fabric, which is of significant weight and heft... and you can dress them both up and down.

I would say in order:  1. black, 2. navy, 3. olive/khaki.

Based on same logic, in terms of what is available out there in terms of colors.

Olive and black and khaki I would buy, in that order.  I have enough blue pants, including the previous blue 816.

Edit post: I switched khaki and black because black does sound pretty hard and khaki pants are easier to come by.

That being said, sounds like the black 717s are happening, so maybe black redundant.

I fondled the brown one today... For folks like me who think/ thought they're like cords: forget about it... Much tighter, sturdier,... Absolutely love this fabric... I more than probably need brown tbh...

These have been selling remarkably well, which leads me to think that other colours would work….We can get the same whipcord in black, navy, olive and khaki.  What do you think?

Any chance of a darker forrest green instead of the typical olive?

Nope, it will not replace the Olive.  But,  I have decided that I will release one new colour each year for the foreseeable future. so a darker forest green may pop up at some point….

please forgive me if I missed this but what is the expected stretch on these in terms of waistband? Given a month of wear, could I expect the customary inch if stretch??

If anyone bought a snug-fitting pair and has some intel on its stretching properties, please let us know

Wish I could help out Seul. Sadly I haven't had a ton of time to wear them. Work getting in the way. Hopefully this week I can log some hours and report back.

Only had chance to wear twice, but they were a tad snug on first wear, and they loosened up amply/noticeably on second wear.

I don't know if they will stretch (yet), but I think they will. I can say that they did shrink up a bit with a hot wash and 40 minutes in the drier.

Loving these pants more and more. The lint brush is getting a good workout too. These seem to pick up all sorts of "fuzzers"
