About Hestra:
Our gloves are manufactured in our own factories and we personally buy all leather, fabric, wool and other materials. This gives us control of the production chain and ensures a high level of quality. Several of our models are handmade by some of the most experienced glove makers in Europe.
In 2015, we produced over 2 million pairs of gloves. The company has about 40 employees at its headquarters in Sweden. We also have a subsidiaries in the United States and Germany as well as agents, distributors and retailers in over 30 countries.
Never thought I would get some MIC ones…

Still feel not comfortable with the deal.
Nothing against MIC, but in this case I feel kinda cheated.
My BELL Helmet is made in china, it fits, it feels good, no problem with it. Same with my Vans Vault and some underwear… -
Are you disappointed by their quality or the MIC-label? As G said, where something's made in doesn't imply automatically its quality or ethics. I had goods that were made in 'First World'-countries with a horrible quality and life span whereas things made in 'unpopular' countries held up pretty well with a convincing quality.
-
I can allude to that. Bought a "Made in U.S.A." shirt with all the fancy marketing spin, threads were coming undone in the collar and button holes the second day I had it on … totally turned me off.

Why is it I have no problem paying $350 for a flannel shirt but when I shell out $700 for a suit for my sister's wedding I have buyer's remorse? Nice suit, I'll wear it again, but damn.
-
Will you wear it twice as often as you do the flannel shirt? If not, there's your answer…
-
Not unless I get a new job. I'm UHF all season.

I think Wiki Leaks has hacked my phone, more pictures like this may be posted online soon.
I was young, impressionable and needed the money, and Seul paid well. Don't judge me…..
(It's not really me, my cousin posted it on Facebook to take the piss out of my other cousin. We're all bald and ginger, god knows where he found it
).

That's pretty funny.

Quite a bit of Visvim is made in China. Took me a while to wrap my head around it.

It's the durability which is the problem with a lot of their gear. Or at least it used to be

It's yet to be seen on my gear mostly because I baby my 600$ backpack
-
the old FBTs used to have the upper seperate from the sole if you're not careful because it's always slipping forward. my ballistic backpack is one hell of a workhorse. i've used it on all my travels and every time i go into uni. it's been through a lot over 2 years now..
-
Yeah that happened on all of mine. Gotta say my virgils are pretty dam solid so perhaps they have turned it around.
