My new edc I just picked up, deep carry clip on the way. Had a full size Grip and liked it but too big to always carry. This is perfect.

Thanks mate. Of the four knives I own, the blade of this def seems to be the most practical thus far!

I'm looking for a Hinderer XM-18 3" for myself btw... If anyone has one for sale or has a lead... Preferably non-flipper, but doesn't matter much... Will keep an eye on Bladeforums B/S thread of course but they go fast on there... And mostly 3.5's for sale as of right now - too big for me...

There's an article at The Guardian about the author's relationship with his kitchen knives. It's an excerpt or precis from his book, and an interesting read.

@Seul have you taken a look at Rick's newer model, the Half Track - that he launched last year? Similar blade length but the handle is beefier and (I feel) much easier to maintain a solid grip with when in-hand. The production versions are starting to filter out now.

I can take a shot of it next to a 3.5 XM if you wish to gauge size. It is really not that large compared to the 3".
