IHSH-161 - Indigo Cotton Corduroy Western Shirt

Thanks guys, definitely happy I went with my normal IH size.
It's a little shorter than some of my other shirts but overall I really like the fit.

One quick question for the IH crew: my tag says the shirt is 85% cotton and 15% poly.
Just curious if this is true or is it 100% cotton?

Regardless, its still an absolutes beautiful shirt in the flesh!

I ended up going with an xl. Fit is absolutely perfect. Its cut quite generously in the torso area and the arms seem to come up shorter than most other IH shirts I own, which I am very very happy with.

The colour in the flesh is lovely. It is a very deep, very dark blue. The evo on this is going to be epic!

I do not know if the description Haraki gave me is in error or the label is in error.  When I do I will let you know here….

The JP website also lists it as 100% cotton so it's quite strange.

This is the explanation that I just got from Tom:

Sorry. When I explained about this corduroy, I forgot about the ground that for keep ( connect/ tighten) the napped  face yarn.
The ground is polyester which is hidden by the napped face cotton yarn. So we can't see it.
The indigo face what we see is cotton 100%. Not mixed.
I'm sorry I misunderstood this construction and our explanation was not enough.

Thanks for the explanation both Tom and G, no issue with the shirt because it's beautiful!
Shouldn't stop anyone from buying this one IMO. Feels really luxurious.
And I'm usually the first to say no thanks for shirts that aren't 100% cotton.

Even 100% cotton fabrics sometimes have poly/cotton stitching. I want poly/cotton stitching on heavy duty stuff personally.

poly/cotton stitching is one thing, unfortunately some people have a polyester allergy, which I do.  15% polyester content is a high percentage, having an allergy to it.The shirt is beautiful, I got mine today. I will keep it, probably wear it over some sort of T. I could sense the polyester pulling it out of the bag. My loss. Sad, I was so looking forward to this shirt.
