I'll wear it with anything from a t-shirt to an UHF to a decently heavy hoodie underneath. I've tried it on with the hoodie, and it looks a bit better but still could be a touch slimmer. I'd sacrifice a bit of comfort while wearing the hoodie underneath for a better fit with a t-shirt though. It's a 44, p2p measurement was listed as 22.5" which I haven't confirmed but it seems about right. IMHO if it had a bit more taper to the body and a bit less bulk in the upper arms it would be perfect. I'm considering sending it back for modifications or one built more to my specs if either are possible, but like I said, I'm open to the possibility that I'm nuts and the fit is fine as-is.  I was just picturing a slimmer fit.

Got my jacket today! Turnaround only took about 6 weeks.

Smells amazing and I went with the Horween warhawk horsehide leather so it's thick. I've only briefly tried it on at work, and the upper arms seem overly bulky, but once I get to a mirror I will be able to see how it looks. Hopefully it's just a case of it needing to be broken in.

I am just a bit concerned about the fit, especially around the upper arm area. It's a thick leather so i'm hoping it just needs to be broken in. What do people think?

Upper arms look too big imo, but I am not sure how they will settle down

I'd say that was one size too big, definitely too big in the arms and chest, and too long overall (although that's very subjective and will depend on your own taste)

I think you need to size down two sizes from whatever size this one is. Everything is way too big IMO. Sorry, I feel your pain, I had the same problem. But in the end, you're buying a jacket that you'll be wearing the rest of your life, so you don't want to have any regrets with the fit.

Ok. Finally decided my next big purchase will be a SB leather jacket and wanted to get some of your thoughts on the different leather options.

Options I am looking at:  Burgundy Hoween Warhawk FQHH / Shinki Chocolate / Horween Chromexel Steerhide Brown

I love the Burgundy and the fact that it will essentially match everything, however, not sure I should go a more classic route and get a brown or chocolate offering. I know Black is out contention because I simply would not wear it as much.

Thoughts on those you you that have any of these offerings in a SB jacket?

So if I understand the (new to me) terminology - Clayton gives the best of both worlds. I can get the Burgundy FQHH in a Veg tan leather that is only slightly less thick than the Warhawk and about the same as Shinki?
