Well, the straps were pretty cinched up when it arrived, I actually loosened them a bit.

Correct. And I've adjusted them a bit more since I took the second set of pics. It's not quite as slim fitting as I was hoping for from the armpits to the waist, or in the upper arms. I don't know if that will change with wear. I was hoping for a fit like @ben2t has on his in the Alexander Leathers thread, he ended up sizing down from the first size he ordered if I remember correctly. I'd quote his post for reference but the thread's locked.
It was a great deal from the outlet section on their website, but I want to make sure I'm happy with the fit in the end. And everyone is free to call me crazy if you think the fit is perfect.

Second set of pics look better. What are you planning on wearing it with? Maybe see what it's like with a tee v an UHF? What size did you end up with?

I'll wear it with anything from a t-shirt to an UHF to a decently heavy hoodie underneath. I've tried it on with the hoodie, and it looks a bit better but still could be a touch slimmer. I'd sacrifice a bit of comfort while wearing the hoodie underneath for a better fit with a t-shirt though. It's a 44, p2p measurement was listed as 22.5" which I haven't confirmed but it seems about right. IMHO if it had a bit more taper to the body and a bit less bulk in the upper arms it would be perfect. I'm considering sending it back for modifications or one built more to my specs if either are possible, but like I said, I'm open to the possibility that I'm nuts and the fit is fine as-is. I was just picturing a slimmer fit.

Got my jacket today! Turnaround only took about 6 weeks.
Smells amazing and I went with the Horween warhawk horsehide leather so it's thick. I've only briefly tried it on at work, and the upper arms seem overly bulky, but once I get to a mirror I will be able to see how it looks. Hopefully it's just a case of it needing to be broken in.

Congrats @Niro ! Looking forward to seeing some pics. I ended up sending mine back and ordering a smaller size, hopefully it shows up before the weather gets too cool.

Upper arms look too big imo, but I am not sure how they will settle down

I think you need to size down two sizes from whatever size this one is. Everything is way too big IMO. Sorry, I feel your pain, I had the same problem. But in the end, you're buying a jacket that you'll be wearing the rest of your life, so you don't want to have any regrets with the fit.
