I use the 185 frequently and really enjoy it. Make sure you grind fairly coarse.

Found a very local roastery today, just 190m from my door. Lets see how it tastes.

Iced Coffee > Cold Brew.
Fuck that, I love Cold Brew, its great with tonic.
Anyone else into coffee x tonic? What I had in the last time: Espresso Tonic (Cafe), Ristretto Tonic (Cafe), Cold Brew Tonic (at home) and Iced Coffee on Tonic (at home). Its a great Summer-Drink.New Cold Brew is in the making.
40g coarse coffee and 400ml water, 10 to 12 hours. Filter through Kalita 185. -
Make some iced coffee and you are fine.

I drink iced coffee all year long. Make iced pour over using my Chemex and a French Roast.
Stupid question but so you just fill the basin with ice and pour over as usual?

I do it in a Chemex as well but prefer the aeropress for that.
If you use lets say 300g of water for the pour over, just use 150g and let it drip on 150g ice inside the Chemex. Its really that easy.
