I have a stander @ work too. I stand probably 3-4hrs a day, usually of a morning, and in bursts of an afternoon. I used to stand all day, but have regressed. It's great to have the flexibility and I find I move around/do more if I am standing…love it!

Soft, not a 21. More of a pale blue mock twist chambray, exactly like the 65 (which was a western)… Yellow stitching... Selvedge... White buttons... Smells good as well - which is completely irrelevant.

        Anyone?..

There's no way this thing was ever green… Thinking it might've been a sample of a 65 workshirt or 46 in pale blue, seeing as it is a size L...

Do more of what you like and less of what you don't. I find this surprisingly difficult but it works if you can manage it.

There was a blue IHSH-46 released in JP, but Giles didn't being them over because of the blue 21 iirc

Does anyone know where I can find a high-quality, military-style duffel bag?

Have you got a pic of specifically which style. There are lots of suppliers to the military who do mil-spec duffles are are you referring to an old school type?

After serving in the Army, I can tell you the old Vietnam style ones that are issued are CRAP! I kept one the whole time, because it was part of my inventory, but I used one of these:

pretty sure the question came up multiple times, but i found not that much - since i threw my denim in the washing machine this morning, how do you guys care for the leather patch? i used to use red wing mink oil on my 666 but that made the patch very dark brown and i wanted to keep the patch of my busters lighter, more on orange side. any ideas or cheap grandmother advice?

Yep, hand sew it. Use a backstitch:

Try to incorporate the existing thread into the backstitch. If that is too difficult, cut it out, but just make sure the new backstitch overstitches the existing good stitches

If the existing thread is too short, use a lighter to melt the poly-cotton thread and put a finger on it. If you check out the video about the IHUK hem-service you can see Giles do the same.

I am looking for some white selvedge pants, jeans or chino. The white 21oz denim is too hot for the work at a childrens hospital with underfloor heating. The new double knee white loggers are too much because the double knees.

Ok Forum people, I need some advice.

The wife and I agree that we have "outgrown" our house (well, at least the configuration is quite wrong for us now) and are looking for new options for our family. We are in the "go as big as possible" vs. "Get exactly what we want, but smaller size" argument now.  I guess, we don't want to get something too small and outgrow it too fast with our kiddos (and if we whoops and have a third), but I also don't want to get something too big and always regret buying more house than we need.  My style is smaller, with usable spaces and high end/custom styling. My wife's style is not very particular, but she feels more space is more important.

I guess, I am looking for insight for those of your guys with multiple kids who have found the right balance of space without undertaking something that gets unused…

I know this post is very "american" lol my bad...

                                          Cheers,

                                          Adam
