Looks like my boy dog tore his ACL. Poor guy, he's limping really bad. Looks like surgery for him.
sorry to read this. is it a full or partial tear?
-
Looks like Hex completely tore his CCL, so he's going to get his shin bone resectioned and screwed together with a plate.
Also he probably has a meniscal tear
And he probably needs to have the groove for his patella deepened because it's out of whack.
For a grand total of….$5300

Poor Hex - what a worry. Great that the surgery is over and that he's home again, wishing him a swift recovery x

Hex came back home on Wednesday after TPLO surgery. He's got 12 weeks of recovery ahead of him.
You guys must be so relieved he's back home, where you can support him in his recovery.

Apparently the Vikings took their cats with them when they went pillaging, according to a recent research into their DNA.
That probably explains a lot about Tiger the Cat Burglar.
It also makes me think that this is way too appropriate…

My feelings on pets are pretty simple- I like them, but I don't want any of my own. However, my wife decided that we are going to test drive a dog. So I know that unless she mauls one of the kids, Lucy is going to be moving in soon.
Because I don't get a vote in this house. -
She's a Labradoodle- a Labrador retriever/poodle mix. They're supposed to be hypoallergenic, friendly and smart, despite the idiotic name. Lucy was in training to be a service dog, but washed out of the program because she's too friendly. Apparently, it's bad to have the dog wander off to meet new people when she's supposed to stay with the owner.
Despite my crappy photo, she has both eyes and a normal doggie nose. The metal bit is her tag. Jeez, what kind of dogs do you have in Belgium, Seul?
Oh, and no worries about the UK trip, Giles. Julie is already making arrangements for her, despite the fact that we haven't actually decided to keep the dog.
