Jotdanf9 from the moment I got them out of the box I knew these were top quality. Size 9D is spot on. The leather upper is very supple & will break in quite easily. No worries there. The sole is very solid so it'll take a bit of walking for the whole thing to take the shape of my feet. On the whole great value for money. Now I can happily retire my red wings.

Well, just ordered me a pair of these beauts. Hoping the fit and comfort is beyond anything I ever wore before.

Is it a leather mid sole or does it come with inserts for comfort and support?

My RedWings are kind of killing me as 6" shaft isn't tall enough to be comfy for me.

Oh, what cleaning and treatment do you/Wesco recommend for this leather?

Wore them for a day straight. While these are amaIng boots, my feet were worn out. Mostly because the natural last isn't great with my foot/arches. But I have insole coming in to hopefully fix that and make these true heaven.

Same though. A leather sole wears really well over the years like a good Brooks saddle. Pain in the feat for awhile, I'll admit to that.

Absolutely pain in the feet. I have been rocking them as much as possible. Got some wear and tear right away, unfortunately took a gouge into the leather. Fortunately I had leather glue and the cut still had it's piece attached to it.

This burgundy is BEAUTIFUL as it ages! I am waiting my for my Lincoln shoe polish as per Wesco themselves

First time doing boots with Lincoln polish(Wesco recommend), horse hair brush and using a soft rag to buff after. Not too bad I guess….
