I've got to be honest, this is a great looking shirt….  But as a WSU Coug I cannot justify a purple shirt.  When is the Crimson and Grey ombre coming!?

        Crimson and grey? Not planned.

All FW UHF (inc Ombre) releases are here:

The ombre got a unexpected cold soak last night on the bike, outside still drying, see if there is any shrinkage at all. I am expecting very little.

Thanks @Giles, I need to add to the "what you think we should make thread".  Been keeping close tabs on the release schedule.  I think my bank account will suffer enough without a crimson and grey flannel in the mix

I'll just echo what others have said, in that the color is so nice in person.  Such a stunner of a shirt, but alas the sleeves are too long for my lumpy body so my XL is going back to IHUK.

The sleeve length is the only reason that shirt isn't currently hanging in my closet. Emailed SelfEdge and Kiya said they'll have them in the stores on Sept. 22nd. Going to go and try one on and see if I can deal with the sleeve length. Also been reading up on sleeve shortening. Some say you should shorten from the shoulder, and some say you should go from the cuff. Anyone have any experience in that area?

At yes… Good point. As a fellow T-Rex I sympathise. Hope you find one that works.

I also pondered if I should keep the purple ombre and have the sleeves shortened.  But even if I succeeded in finding a tailor that is up to Iron Heart standards, the final sum would be an awful lot of coin for a shirt.

Problem is the only thing I want to shrink is the sleeves. So I should take the sleeves off, wash them in hot water, hope they shrink about an inch and then just reattach them. BRILLIANT!!!! You have to understand that I genuinely want this shirt. I'm also not a work shirt guy.

If I were in your situation, I would see two possible solutions  🙂

                                            1. calculate the amount of time that you will wear the sleeves rolled up.  for me this is >60% at the very least.
-so then zero fucks could be given about the sleeve length

                                            2. commit to buying-hot.washing-wearing.while.damp, and then wearing hard for a time to crease the elbows and wrists and cuffs enough to eat up that extra length you are so desperate to avoid.
-when you combine that  with whatever amount of shrinkage you are able to achieve, i believe it should solve the problem.

i am 5'7" with wide shoulders.  I wear a M and L in IHSH's, so a size bigger than what is ideal for my other dimensions.  Sleeve length has never been an issue, the creases eat up some length for me
