This is Lambic beer to which two kinds of local berries were added, and cherries. It is my favourite sour, mainly because of the absolutely gorgeous colour, with a slight pink hue to it, and the nose, well, is just divine… Sour, but fruity... Taste has an acidic start, but softens up almost immediately, and gives way to a soft Lambiek finish with lots of fruit. No carbonation, which makes it even easier to drink, although some people would dislike that I'm sure.

Anyway... Sour beers have gotten me through this sweaty madness... Thank fuck it's over. Thanks for putting up with all my shitty pics.

Do mind: crates of Dolle Brouwers consist of 20 bottles, not 24!!!

Imo Oerbier is the most interesting and best evolving Belgian beer together with Orval… But maybe try the one bottle first, otherwise you're stuck with a crate...

I think shipping by the crate is a remarkably convenient service!.. Also: 52€ (before shipping) is 44 quid... Oerbier costs around 2€/ bottle here, so it's actually not a bad deal at all...

What does the Orval run you E? Recently became available to me, but it's a bit steep in price…curious what we're getting marked up on import

It's around 7€ a clip (of 4) here… One of the more expensive supermarket beers... How much are they charging, mate?..
