Luggage Bags and Packs

That Bagjack looks like some major league badassery . I especially like the big flap and outer compartment.
How heavy is it when empty? Are the straps comfortable? They look thinner from this angle (compared to a GoRuck, etc.). I imagine that it feels completely bombproof, wear it in good health!I foolishly read Carryology's article on Böle and now am pining for a ruck. I showed the prince to my wife and heard a "fucking seriously" under her breathe! My wife never uses any profanity btw….

Böle Tannery King Rucksack seen at Harrods over the weekend.
It's made of vegetable tanned deerskin, and fully hand sewn. The nameplate can be hand-carved with your initials by a 93 year old Saami. And it gets its name from the first model was given to the King of Sweden…
I'm in love, but there's just the slight issue of €7500 price tag.
Scott and Kelly of Dawson Denim visited Böle a few weeks ago, and have a post on their blog about their experience.
@Anesthetist, just reposting this for you.
I'd like one too. Maybe we can get one between us on a timeshare basis.

Official specs say ~900g which is close to my crude measurement with a shipping scale. It doesn't feel like ~2 lbs empty though. One of the reasons it caught my attention was the low weight. Combining the waxed millerain accent material, design, and Bagjack build quality I was sold.
The straps are very comfortable but I have not maxed out the bag yet. I'll report back when I have carried heavier loads.
I also read the Cardiology article on Böle. The rucksacks look amazing but the price is way beyond my reach. I'd love to see one in person though.

I look forward to seeing it age @veloaudio and your review down the line.
@graeme we could get the steer hide at the bargain price of 5000€. Truthfully, the closest I'll get is probably the 100€ card holder [emoji3]

Speaking of Böle. This article that shows a briefcase after 20 years is pretty good: http://www.merchantandmakers.com/bole-tannery-swedish-vegetable-tanned-leather/

Trakke have recently updated their product range. The new Assynt 28 looks good.
Finisterre sell a really nice waterproof duffle bag. There's a review at Carryology. The spice colour, shown below, is currently on sale at £90, down from £150.

Thanks for the heads up Graeme. The way that they had listed the bags meant that they didn't pop up in my regular saved ebay searches when they were listed.
I managed to pick up the Barbary in navy and cognac for two hundred quid. A bargain considering I have been looking for one to complement my Genghis for about three bloody years!
Thanks again old boy

Very nice!
Also nice to see that you are maintaining your previously self-assigned title of "Patagucci whore" [emoji8]

They sound good. Be interested to know your thoughts. My mate swears by their jackets and been looking at getting another decent technical jacket.

These are technical, but super specific. Basically for full sun protection in the tropics:

Speaking of Patagonia, http://eu.patagonia.com/enGB/product/mens-nano-air-hoody?p=84260-0-BLK one of my best purchases last year. Incredibly comfortable and versatile.

Just coming home from our family trip to the Balearics. This triple has served us well.
Patagonia- Wet and Dry Gear Pack 100 Litres (Round about 25 years old
)
Patagonia- Black Hole Bag 22
Ortlieb- Big Zip 140 LitresInteresting.
I have the:
Ortlieb 110 Litre Duffel
Patagonia Black Hole 90litre
Patagonia Black Hole 60 litre -
The Finisterre duffle that I posted a few pages back is designed and manufactured by Ortlieb. There's a piece at Carryology on its conception. Sounds a good piece.
@Cutlasshound glad to hear you snagged a Bedouin offer. I was tempted by the Delireis special edition, but it disappeared from eBay very quickly. Someone probably picked it up from the shop.
I'll be checking them out when the Carryology Store actually gets around to opening. I currently have a Defy Verbockel, which works for me. (Straps are a bit short, rectified on newer versions.) So no need for more bags right now.
