Not my fav style, the Flemish Old Brown (despite being named after my region), but this ticks all the boxes… @Chris - this one is right up your alley!.. (That's what Gav said…)

Different to Duchesse de Bourgogne (which I do like), a drier, altogether smoother experience. I wasn't sure at first but I enjoyed it.

Finished yesterday evening off with this three year old bad boy. Very. Nice.

Nice to have this one still hanging around at the shops, great summer beer.
Not my favorite beer from The Bruery, but solid.

Bought a six pack of this last night and ended up drinking the whole thing!  ???

Had an Amager tap take-over at a local pub yesterday, but I forgot to take pictures..

These beers were on tap at least:

                1. Amager - Bobsleighing in April
                2. Amager / Edge Brewing - Granny With A Gun
                3. Amager / Haandbryggeriet - The Unbelievable Norwegian Alligator Dong Flop
                4. Amager - Ganz Besonders
                5. Amager / Goose Island - RyeKing
                6. Amager / Fonta Flora - The Lady of Cofitachequi
                7. Amager - Who IS John Galt?
                8. Amager - Lubricated Labrador

Loved Rye King and Granny with a Gun.

I'm glad there wasn't a beer named Granny with a Floppy Lubricated Labrador Dong though…

Oh,  the Bourgogne de Flanders… I have 12 of them from 2012 sitting in my basement.  One of my favorite beers.
Must say I totally dislike any bitterness in my beers,  so the hoppy IPAs give me nothing.  For me it's the Flemish Reds.  Duchesse de Bourgogne,  Rodenbach Grand Cru,  these are the ones.

That description sounds like an awesome beer.
Sounds similar to the recently released gin barrel aged nocturne from Jester King.
Also looks like Atrial Rubicite will be released this weekend, and of course I'll be working all weekend. 😞

Spent the last 4 days in Ogunquit, Maine. Pretty great place if you love seafood or good beer. Searched high and low for some Bissell Brothers to bring home with no luck but did have their Substance on tap quite a,lot. Great juicy IPA a lot like Tree House. There is also a place called Cornerstone Pizza with a very quickly revolving tap lis. Tried a lot of rarer stuff.
