Love my Whites.  Burgundy chromexcel bounty hunter, black and red bull hide lace to toe bounty hunter, British tan with toe cap chromexcel semi dress.  The semi dress fit 1/2 size longer than the bounty hunter.  Should have asked for the bounty hunter last.

I need some black lace ups ("need" used very loosely in this case)… Any opinions, black cxl vs. black dress or other black leather options?  Thinking of a black semi-dress with brown edge everything else pretty standard - cuban heel, standard trim, cut top, no lining, vibram 430 or commando... I'm f***ing paralyzed not knowing which leather. Any thoughts/opinions appreciated...

@Bluegrass , black dress every time over cxl, dress ages really well whereas I find cxl to age a little artificially. The dress leather doesn't mark as easy either.

Your other options sound good too.

I've tried similar boots and found that the SD hold its appeal longer, a classic boot that can be worn with anything.

Thanks, good point. Actually LtT is a bit "fashion-forward" for this part of the U.S. - I think the SD will be stunners without sticking out. And I know everyone has their favorite brands and they work different for different feet - I have a lot of boots myself - but the White's arch-ease, for me, is just so damn comfortable.

Those look really comfy, as well as beautiful. My objection to boots is usually a narrow toe-box.

I had a pair which looked almost exactly the same as those RBG, great boots but never fit me quite right so got less wear than they deserved.
