I got all scraped up going under a car to save a kitty cat….. Evo, I guess. Adds to the story. Since then, I just keep washing it every few weeks.

Which dimensions are you worried about? Chest/shoulders/armholes look great imho. You could stand to loose a little in length but not much. It looks a little stiff as it's new so absolutely soak and wear it like a boss

I'd say size down one… but it depends on your personal preferences (loose vs. snug fit).

length will shrink somewhat, so that's not a problem… P2P and arm opening could be snugger, undecided how much they will / could shrink... on the other end shoulders are fine and might be too small on a Small....

and as you said it's stiff stiff right now....

Don't size down mate, mine shrank quite a bit when hot washed. Plus when it softens the fit relaxes.. Not teaching you anything there.

did some further more try on, will stick with the Medium and shrink it to perfection….  hopefully ...

a beautiful piece it is....

and reminds me once again that I really should spend more time with trying stock on and less with drinking wine while in Gosport...

Stick with M and hot soak it IMO @rocket
From my experience with DD, you'll get half a size down with agitation and a perfect fitting vest
