Thinking of picking up some 634S-WHs to serve as a pair of ahem

for Austin summers.

I know lots of folks on here are a fan of the "dirty white" look, but I'm not.  I'm looking for a "clean surfer" look, not a "dirty mechanic" look.  Anybody know how to go about removing the paraffin wax so as to keep things nice and white?  I know I'm supposed to avoid washes like the plague - and I do with my trusty indigo 634S pair - but I think these will need a bit of TLC.

Also, I see the measurements for these are a wee bit tighter than the usual 634S.  Does stretch account for a difference?  I'm a 34 in the normal 634S, and they fit PERFECTLY.  I just wanna make sure these will treat me the same.

The paraffin is there to repel dirt….These'll stretch the same as any of the other 21oz selvedge denims....

Yeah, I get that that's the paraffin wax's job - but I've seen some DIRTY white jeans on here.

I'd almost just rather wash them more regularly.  Either way, I'll likely be ordering a pair shortly.

If they're dirty, that's because they have not been washed.  If you want them squeaky clean, wash them.  You won't damage them by looking after them….
