We are weaving a new selvedge cotton chino.  It is woven in white and then the fabric is dyed to the colour of our choice.  To retain the selvedge ID we weave the white/red/white ID of the selvedge in polyester.  This does not take up the dye.  Why is this important?  It means that we can dye any colour chino and retail a red/white/red id.  First up is khaki chino on the 707 cut, black and navy are planned….

I love the Type 3 jackets, but not the vests.. I don't love the Type 2 jackets, but I think Type 2 vests would be AMAZING!

IH could do these so well… The new 14oz denim, or the vintage denim that is being worked up. Hell, any fabric! I genuinely think Type 2 is far better as a vest tho

Haha! "So-so"… Meaning "ho-hum", NOT to be confused with "Sou sou sou!", which roughly means "Hell yeah!" in Japanese, lol

I know it´s not important to Haraki-San, or it makes better quality, but the selvedge ID for the chinos is a smart move! Everything looks better with selvedge
