Since my Samurai jeans are now stained with Chinese chili sauce I have myself am excuse to buy a new pair of jeans. It's a good thing I'm close to SESF! I've always wanted a pair of these and can't wait to see how they age!

Interested in the post soak measurements, the 18 oz. denim is one I want to try at some point.
I think the rise might be too low for me though personally.

Post soak measurements after an hour of soak with lukewarm water:
Tag size 36 using the BIG method
Waist 35 (36 using the IH method)
              Front rise 11
              Thigh 12.75
              Knee 9.2
              Hem 8.75
              Inseam 35

Can anyone chime in as to whether or not I maximized shrinkage? This is the slimmest pair of jeans ive ever owned and will take some time getting used to. How long will it take for the waist and thigh to stretch out?

If all you did was put them in a tub of warm water, no.  You need to agitate.  Even then, with just one soak you may not have got all the shrinkage out.

@1fookntitefd I soaked mine hot for one hour and got 1 inch in the waist, 2 inches in length and about 0,25 in the thigh. Post soak they were a bit tight but already loosened up after a day or two.

I actually did agitate while soaking… Based on my post soak measurements do I have a lot more shrinkage left?

You could have but there could be more.  I can't be more specific than that.  Too many variables….

Got these in Jan 2016 and have worn them every day since. They've had 4 soaks and 6 washes. The washes are with whatever detergent my wife bought last, turned inside out, full cycle (including the spin). As you can tell from the dates inside my pocket, I can't go much more than 1 month without a soak or washing. They just start to get that sour/dirty laundry smell. I washed them yesterday and though I'd snap a few pics while they were nice and clean.

Hello. I am wondering if anyone who has a pair of these also happens to have a pair of PBJ Xx-013 - and if so broadly how the two compare fit-wise? I am a 32 in the PBJ with no issues at all.

Just saw your reply, sorry for the delayed response! I've had them for around 2 years now, but I don't keep track of washes. Maybe half a dozen washes… I love them
