Some nice carbonation. Only slightly sour. And the dandelion comes through!

Out with the new! In with the old!

To be fair the sun is out. Fekked if I'm going outside in anything less than three layers and a watch cap though. Cheers, boys and girls (and all those who find themselves somewhere in between). [emoji482]

Pretty good stuff from Trondheim. A milk stout with habanero. Not as gimmicky as I thought. Surprisingly well balanced.

That beer sounds like it would make a GREAT beer float. This might sound crazy, but a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a nice chocolate stout,or a milk stout is quite delicious. Just in case the beer didn't have enough calories on it's own.

I'm up to try that one day. Nice one.

Copenhagen Beer Celebration was pretty awesome yesterday. A lot of good beers, obviously. Everybody were doing sours though, got a bit too much. Love a good sour, but not everybody can make em.

My top three (in no particular order):

Jester King Buford's Roadside Wares - Bière de Garde (Collab with Arizona Wilderness, brewed with pecans)
Amager The Gay Gondolier - Imperial Caffè Latté Brown
Perennial Foeder Saison - Mixed Ferm. Foeder Aged Saison

Biggest disappointments were probably Hill Farmstead and Prairie.

My expectations were high.. Good beers, but I thought both would end up being favourites.

I loved this beer as well, took me by surprise a bit honestly.
Curious what Prairie beers you had that were disappointing. I've had some that are not as good as the rest for sure.

Falcon Punch - Sour Ale and Return of the Legend - Tripel. Falcon Punch was pretty good, but did not enjoy the Tripel. They also offered Pirate Bomb - Imperial Stout, but that one wasn't connected when we were there.

Hill Farmstead had Susan - IPA and E - Saison. Both good, but I had much higher hopes for Susan.

Interesting, I've never had either of those beers. Pirate Bomb on the other hand is fantastic, you missed out on that one!

Sours are the new DIPA in New England right now. All anyone cares about. I was talking to Lagunitas rep yesterday and they have acquired a second location and plan to do only sours at one facility.  Tried a new one from them yesterday which was not a beer and not a,sour but something in between, great "starter" sour. Aunt Sally was the name of it.

Made a big stirfry for the family and in-laws. Shared these two DIPA's with my father-in-law while watching the footie after dinner. Both good with The Garage Project verging on great.
