Looks complicated, but I like it.

I am huge fan of Bedouin (my Delireis is going on a trip with me today) and while the new duffle looks cool I would need to see it in person first. The backpack straps don't look much different than my Delireis (width and padding). I'd also be concerned about the weight of the bag too. All that said, Silas knows what he doing so I'm sure it is nice.

Its also 40 litres. Which is exactly why I am tempted by it.

Yes, a perfect travel size.

Their Next Level Messenger. Great choice. Big fan of the Bagjack stuff. Had one of their circdisc covers for the ipad and it was spot on.

Guys with Filson bags: are they really worth it?
I've been looking at this new medium sized duffle from Filson and I'm trying to decide if it's worth the asking price.
I saw it in person today and it was a bit cheaper than online, and figured I might bite the bullet and buy it soon.
Looks like it would be the ideal size for a few days on the road and the quality felt pretty nice to boot.

I've owned two field bags, a zip tote, a rucksack, and a small duffel over the years. IMO, my old Filson stuff is better made. The leather was more more flexible and the twill felt better. They still make good bags, but they aren't as good a bargain. This is my small field bag from around 2002:

Carryology are opening a concept store in Melbourne. :o
They'll be carrying all of the usual suspects: Bedouin Foundry, Trakke, Mission Workshop, Mystery Ranch, Côte&Ciel, Teranishi, QWSTION, Makr, Lexdray, GORUCK, Gregory, Rivendell Mountain Works, RAWROW, Alchemy Equipment, Tanner Goods…
There goes my disposable income.

I have 5 or 6 Filson bags from that line. Around 20 years old, been all over the world. They are dirty, but in perfect condition otherwise. Super solid construction and components.
That is a big bag.edit - mine have a little more metal, but same color duck and leather.

Guys with Filson bags: are they really worth it?
I've been looking at this new medium sized duffle from Filson …I have / had 2 Field Bags and I'm very satisfied with the quality and the classic look. (+ the excellent evo options over the years)
… currently, I'm looking for a Duffle Bag too. -
I have a Large Travel bag (discontinued now, http://www.ebags.com/product/filson/large-travel-bag/82969) that I used for a few years and you wouldn't know it. The bags will definitely take the abuse. Only issue for me is the weight of the bag (sacrilege on the IH forum I know [emoji3]) as I much prefer a much lighter duffle bag for my travels now.
