after a week on the road in and a few days home wearing them every day i have to say i really like these alot.  the denim is great.  the fit is spot on.  the quality is what you would expect from ironheart.

The denim is great!!! The hem felt like it could evolve some incredible roping.

The W34 was good everywhere except the waist, the waist was too big. No W33 at the shop, maybe I´ll order one someday

They are a different cut, yes. Others who own both can tell you for sure, but I think the taper on the 777's is more pronounced than on the 301's.

I'm getting pretty good contrast, but am washing super regularly….

One-washed, so little or no shrinkage but, like all denim, will stretch up to one inch in the waist with wear

They are different yes.  With the differences in denim weight it's actually difficult to tell exactly how they differ because I don't have the 777 in 21oz.  I found that personally my 777-14 feels similar to my 301s if I size up by one.  I'm a 32 in 301s and I got a 33 in the 777-14.  Different denim behaves differently and the weight and thickness of the denim has a huge impact on the fit though.

i've found that a heavier denim will make a pair of jeans feel tighter than an identical fit in a lighter denim.  if the measurements are exactly the same then the lighter denim might have a little extra room.  it seems like H tweaks the cut for each denim to help with that.  i could be totally wrong though.

just gave these guys a wash and the weave tightens up nicely.  this is really great denim.

Is this not anymore on sale? I could not find my size here in Germany! Since buying my first pair of Iron heart 555N, I love it. I would like to get another pair and I was leaning more towards the 777S and seems like I could not get it anywhere in Germany!

My 777S-14's are getting a lot more wears now the weather has "warmed" up a bit in the recent months. I did ride with them a bit when it was colder but i generally stuck with something a bit heavier. They're starting to look good though… I've only washed them once though so it's really interesting to see my pair compared with Giles's 666S-14's.

They're my go to jeans right now so hopefully there will be some more pics on their way in the next few months.
