I was really indecisive about sizing, but in the end I went with a size (XL) that'll hopefully fit fine over a t-shirt… shit, this makes it the second vest I snagged just before @Cutlasshound could cop it. I'm really sorry dude, I hope this doesn't become a trend! :-\

Just a touch to long for my bulk and it doesnt quite sit right across the chest for me (but does fit)….... Glorious, please do

Has anyone gotten any shrinkage on this? I need an XL but am considering XXL since it is raw. I know the red lining might prevent it but wondering if a hot soak/dryer would get me close to where I need to be.
I don't think I'll be soaking mine, I think I'll wear it from raw and see what happens. But I suspect that if you force shrinkage you may end up with the vest turning up at the bottom because the lining will shrink at a different ratio.
On the other hand it is an absolute tank of a vest. Feels like it could turn bullets.

Congratulations. It's a great vest. If it helps, I'm an XL in most IH shirts and got an XL in this. It goes great over my OD Type III, my IHJ-37, and an IH hoodie. I can also wear it over a tee and a UHF. I'm actually tempted to get the M and wear it over just t-shirts. It's an amazing bit of clothing.

Going to have to return this. Does not fit my body well. Too stiff, and lumpy in weird places. Going to settle on the 526SV and hope it works out better.

Really bummed this didn't fit right. Just got my 526SV and it's a lot better as far as the way my body fits the vest.

Sucks when that happens. But not every piece is right for every person. I hate that I can't wear the 634 cut.
It's a challenging vest as well. That 18oz is unsanforised and stiff as a board. Can I ask, were you using it over leathers?
