@Sam:
Hey guys,
Giles found a 99 so i could do the comparison photos. 141 on top and the 99 on the bottom. The stitching is clearly more visible on the 141 and our best guess for this is because the poly/cotton mix for the stitching on the 99 was more cotton than poly. Synthetic materials don't take on the dye.
Hope that's satisfied some people.
Cheers,

Well, got this beauty in today and loving it!
Fits beautifully and damn does it look good with my Left Field Olive Ducks, even better with my fav pair of Vans!
The fades will be great like all overdyed from IH
LOVING the vertical lives I am seeing on this shirt

Looks good Jordan.

That comparison photo between the 99 and 141 makes the 141 have a beautiful teal hue to it. It definitely isn't as dark/black as my old IH Trucker OD was.
The OD 21oz is super soft right out of the bag. This 12.5oz OD is a bit stiffer, but even after….5 hours of wearing is breaking in very nicely. Let us see how easy the overdye is to fade compared to the jeans.
I was really worried the pockets would stick out after sitting down, but they are pretty flat at all times, which I love. Barely notice them and perfectly size for my hands.

99 Like the badass grandad
141 The young upstart. -

Will do Aetas. Problem is now I have…7 IHSH....and that is more than enough for me to decide and make it difficult! I don't need many options nowadays since IH came into my life when they are THIS good...

It's too bad the thread wasn't overdyed with the shirt like the jeans and the trucker are. Iiked having a more subtle contrast in the thread. None the less this seems to be one I will be trying soon
I noticed that the "contrast" of the thread appears to be more extreme in this overdyed IHSH-141 than it does in the photos of the product page of the overdyed IHSH-99. I like the look of more subtle contrasts as well.
Is the thread contrast more subtle in the IHSH-99?
Or possibly just different photo lighting? …Or is the overdye color itself may a shade or two different between the 141 and 99?Any chance of a comparison photo of the 141 and 99 sitting next to one another?
I've been waiting on picking up an IHSH-99 on the next restock.
With the 141 being very similar I was wonder if it would get more seasonal wear due to it's lighter weight. The 'contrast of the threads' is the icing on the cake … magnificent shirt!
@Sam - THANKS for the comparison photo of the 99 and 141 side-by-side
Definitely a difference in BOTH the amount of contrast in thread color and the shade of the overdye
I wasn't implying that the greater contrast of the thread color in the 141 was unfavorable. A bit of contrast can be good. I'm sure for some people the more extreme contrast of the thread color in the 141 may be their preferred look. However, for me, at least in this case, I'm definitely leaning towards the more subtle contrast of the IHSH-99.
I'm sure the contrast of the 141 would settle down some after a few washes after the color fades

Your post made me realize I've got a bit more than I NEED also. Time to start separating by season to justify.
