DOUBLE INDIGO 666 WORLD TOUR

I miss those jeans so bad!! [emoji25] The thighs will definitely stretch for you man! The II is the coolest fabric I've ever worn, I love it! However, the DD tour is making me want some Double Ducks now…. Great first update Broark

I miss them too. It's weird dedicating a month to them and then passing them on. I was a little sad about it (and they fit better than most of my jeans). They are great. I would grab a pair of they were still available.

I'll take photos of my two favorite bottle shops over the next few weeks!
I'm curious- what are your two favorites?
-
@Chris probably Southwest Parkway Market and Witchcraft Beer Store, but they tend to get picked over first since they have the best selection and are pretty active on social media so people know when new stuff arrives.
There are a few others around the city that I really like that look questionable but have really great selections. -

Great first post mate looking forward to your leg of the tour. The jeans are looking really good.
It is a weird feeling putting a month of solid wear then passing them on. I missed the DD's when I sent them off.

Im suddenly very thirsty!!
+1 … Friday! and my fridge is nearly empty ::)
Great start with your tour - keep it up!

Thanks for the kind words everyone!
I bugged my girlfriend to let me borrow a white sheet to have a bit of a better background to photograph the jeans over. I told her that I'm wearing the jeans for a month and then I send them off to the next in line. She laughed and said "you're basically participating in The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants"…she's not wrong?
So far I really like the color that this denim is developing, really nice dark hues. Also the patch is aging really well. I might give it a treatment sometime later if everyone is okay with that.
Here's my attempt at better photos, I'm by no means a skilled photographer so go easy on me!
And here are my even poorer attempts at taking fit pics. Like I said before the jeans are definitely snug on me, especially though the thigh. The waist feels pretty good though. I would also prefer a higher rise jean, like I've been wearing lately. I think maybe in the future a pair of 18 oz. Beatle Busters would be a better fit possibly. But I'm going to give these hell for a month and enjoy the ride.
Some beer photos from last night, both were delicious. The Simtra really kicked me in the teeth after the Stone at 11.25% ABV…definitely felt it this morning.
And here's Olive, she was wondering what I was doing in the other room but was too lazy to come check the photoshoot out.

Checking in this evening (this is probably what most of my updates from here on out will revolve around…
)
My Texas Longhorns are playing Oklahoma State this evening. I love college basketball and really most sports in general, I'm a diehard Texas Longhorns fan (had football season tickets for the last 5 years or so) and was born into being a Kentucky basketball fan as well.
Please excuse the bare feet.
This evening's beer is a collaboration between Jolly Pumpkin and Stillwater, a nice farmhouse ale brewed with wild limes and rose lemongrass tea.

Haha!! Me too. I love watching he jeans grow up and evolve lol!
I still can't get over how great the II fabric is!! And that patch is insane! I say do whatever you want to them while you have them (besides alterations). Basically "yours" for a month right?
I can't remember if I started a wash/soak tally.. I thought i did on one of the pocket bags but haven't seen any pictures of it since they left Portland.
Also, they look great on you Br0ark! Enjoy

Sorry for the lack of updates guys! Been working and the weather has been absolute garbage for the last few days. Tons of rain but we need it!
I went and grabbed tacos today with my work buddy and I brought Olive along with me. Of course she managed to get some dirt on the world tour jeans with the rain and everything, so I'm thinking about giving them a wash. Everyone cool with that? I don't know what the protocol is since this is my first world tour.
Here they are from a couple of days ago, love the way the denim is fading.

I say do whatever you want. I wouldn't wear dirty jeans if I didn't want to just for the sake of y'all.

It's your leg of the tour wash as much or as little as you want
