Unpopular opinions

My PN avenger is my go to beach hat and I love it. Well made, great fabric that gets better and better in the sun. I like the fact that it's different and that every other bastard is not wearing one. Keep up the good work I say.

1. I only like denim in 2 phases - really, really dark and crispy and really, really worn.
2. Heritage Workwear companies need to stop using 100% cotton threads. I get the idea of staying authentic to the original spec'd items, and if your fabric shrinks like crazy poly-threads don't always adjust as well, but jeez- why should I need to be repairing my jeans and work shirts after every wear when they are only 3 months old? (BTW, I have NEVER had this issue with IH jeans…)
-
I wouldn't really call the cotton thread opinion unpopular. If anything, I'd say that people who want 100% cotton thread are an exceedingly small minority. Cotton thread is terrible.
And I'd love it if IH made a non-fading 634, ideally with deep blue warp and weft, like an IH-634SII-NF…

@Chris - perhaps it could be made and called the 'SuperBlue" instead of "superblack"

I am the same with the 2 stages of denim. Love the brand new stage and love the well worn in too. Once they start to show signs of wear I want them to get to proper faded as quickly as possible

Liking the NF indigo idea.

Why is this unpopular?

Ah! I didn't go back far enough…

I like that he refers to himself in 3rd person because it makes his posts/writing fun & it shows he doesn't take himself 2 seriously, hahahahaha
On the contrary, my experience with people who refer to themselves in the third person is one of deluded, egotists with a messiah complex. It is funny though.

"Classic" rock is horrible. Businesses should never, ever play it, unless they are actively trying to drive customers away.
To quote Matt Farrell from Live Free Or Die Hard, "Just because it's old doesn't mean it's classic. What sucked then still sucks now."
